“Quit your job or go to hell!” Giriraj Singh scolded Dr. Nusrat, said- Nitish did the right thing
New Delhi. The matter of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar removing the hijab of the woman doctor Nusrat Jahan standing on the stage during the appointment letter distribution ceremony in Bihar has not cooled down yet. Now Union Minister and BJP’s firebrand leader Giriraj Singh has openly defended Nitish Kumar on this entire controversy.
Giriraj Singh clearly said that Nitish Kumar did not do any wrong. While talking to the media, when a journalist asked that Dr. Nusrat had rejected the job, Giriraj Singh got angry and said, “It doesn’t matter to us whether he refuses the job or goes to hell!”
This entire statement is now becoming increasingly viral on social media. People are giving different reactions regarding this. Some are justifying Giriraj Singh’s statement while others are calling it against the respect of women.
Actually, Dr. Nusrat was wearing hijab while taking the appointment letter. Nitish Kumar had asked her to take off her hijab from the stage itself, after which Nusrat refused to take the job. Now this sharp statement of Giriraj Singh is adding a new flavor to the whole matter.
