Virat-Rohit Emotional on Ravichandran Ashwin Speech: Ravichandran Ashwin retired from international cricket after the India-Australia Gabba Test. The Indian star spinner had announced his retirement through a press conference. Now BCCI shared a video on social media X, in which Ashwin gave his final speech in the dressing room of Team India. Virat Kohli and Rohit looked emotional during this speech.
In the video shared by BCCI, it can be seen that Ashwin meets all the players while going towards the dressing room. During this time, Australian captain Pat Cummins and star spinner Nathan Lyon also come to meet Ashwin. Cummins gifts a signed Australia jersey to Ashwin. Then he meets all the players and staff members and reaches Ashwin dressing room.

After reaching Team India's dressing room, Ashwin gives his final speech. In the middle of the speech, the camera pans towards Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, where both appear quite emotional. Starting the speech, Ashwin said, “It is easy to speak in the team huddle. This is a very emotional moment for me. It feels like it came in 2011-12. My first tour of Australia. I saw the transition. Rahul Bhai is gone, Sachin Paji is gone, but trust me everyone's time comes and today was my time.” Even before that, Rohit looked emotional while going for the press conference.

Ashwin's international career has been brilliant. They He was the second most successful bowler of India. He has a total of 765 wickets in all three formats. Ashwin, who made his international cricket debut in 2010, has played 106 Tests, 116 ODIs and 65 T20 matches. Taking 5 wickets 37 times in Tests, he has a total of 537 wickets, 156 wickets in ODI and 72 wickets in T20. His record as a batsman in Tests has also been excellent and he has scored 3503 runs scoring 6 centuries and 14 half-centuries.
