Meanwhile, in an interview, he recalled his experience of working with late actor Irrfan Khan. Radhika said that during the film Angrezi Medium, Irrfan Khan not only taught her about acting but also gave her confidence as an artist and a woman.
According to Radhika, working with Irrfan Khan was one of the most important experiences of her career, which gave her the courage to move forward in the world of acting.
Experience of working with Irrfan Khan
In a recent interview, Radhika Madan told that when she worked in Angrezi Medium, she was new in the industry. She said that she was initially nervous about working with a big artist like Irrfan, but his behavior on the set was very simple and respectful. Radhika said,
‘I was completely new at that time and Irrfan Khan was a very big star, but he never made me feel small. He would ask my opinion about the scene and trust my instincts. He considered me an equal partner.
He further told that this behavior of Irrfan was very inspiring for him and it gave him the strength to believe in himself.
Big learning experience for a young actress
Radhika said that this might have been a normal thing for Irfan, but for her this experience was very special. As a new actress, getting respect on the set was a boost to her confidence. According to him, after working with him I felt that I too can make my place in this industry. He taught me that an actor should always respect his co-star.
Radhika also said that Irrfan Khan’s way of working was very different and he used to perform every scene with great sincerity. The film Angrezi Medium was released in the year 2020 and was directed by Homi Adajania. The film was an emotional story of the relationship between a father and daughter, in which the father tries to fulfill his daughter’s dream of studying abroad.
Apart from Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Tripathi, Deepak Dobriyal and Ranveer Shorey were also seen in important roles in the film. This film was one of the last films of Irrfan Khan and was very much liked by the audience. Talking about the work front, Radhika Madan has recently been seen in the film Subedar, in which Anil Kapoor is in the lead role. It is an action-drama film directed by Suresh Triveni.
