Radikaa recently said that it would take her around five hours for her to go through the prosthetic makeup process each time she has to shoot a scene for the film.
The film was earlier set to have a release on February 20, Friday. However, the makers of the film recently postponed it to February 27, probably considering the uncertainty over the possibility of Vijay’s Jana Supervisor being scheduled to release on February 20. Eventually, another Vijay film, 2004’s Ghillihas been slated for a rerelease on the said date, alongside Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu.
Interestingly, February 27 will also see the release of Aazhistarring Radikaa’s actor husband Sarathkumar in the lead role. The other films that are expected to hit theatres on that Friday include Scream 7the Best Picture Oscar-nominated film Hamnetand the Kevin James starrer Only Miloamong others. Hamnet was earlier expected to have a February 20 release in India, but it has now been pushed to the subsequent Friday.
