Raghav Chadha found it difficult to leave ‘Jhadu’! Mathematics of social media got spoiled as soon as BJP joined, 10 lakh people turned away in 2 days

Ever since Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) rebel MP Raghav Chadha has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), his troubles are showing no sign of abating. There has been a stir in the field of politics, but now they have got a big shock in the digital world too. Within the last 2 days, there has been a huge decline in Raghav Chadha’s fan following on Instagram. More than 10 lakh (1 million) people have unfollowed him, which has intensified the discussion about his influence on social media.

Huge decline in the number of Instagram followers

Talking about statistics, as of April 23, Raghav Chadha had 14.6 million followers on Instagram. But as soon as he made the official announcement of leaving Aam Aadmi Party on April 24, the number of followers started falling rapidly. Till now more than 11 lakh people have avoided him and currently he has 13.5 million followers left on Instagram. Experts say that this decline has not stopped yet and the process of decreasing followers continues.

These MPs also left Kejriwal’s support

Along with Raghav Chadha, many other big faces of Aam Aadmi Party have also resigned. These include the names of Sandeep Pathak, Ashok Mittal, Vikram Sahni, Swati Maliwal, Rajendra Gupta and veteran cricketer Harbhajan Singh. However, along with Raghav Chadha, only Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal have officially joined BJP. Before resigning, Raghav had made many serious allegations against AAP in a press conference, while Swati Maliwal has also confirmed her resignation through a social media post.

The pain of being removed from the post of deputy leader

There is talk in political circles that Raghav Chadha was angry with the party ever since he was removed from the post of deputy leader in Rajya Sabha. Aam Aadmi Party had removed him and given this responsibility to Ashok Mittal, due to which Raghav was very hurt. He had also expressed his displeasure by releasing a video. He had been maintaining distance from party meetings and programs for a long time. Although he used to raise public issues in the Rajya Sabha, his activism within the party was almost nil.

Arvind Kejriwal’s headache increased

Raghav Chadha’s departure has created a double challenge for Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Raghav has taken 6 MPs with him, due to which the strength of ‘AAP’ in Rajya Sabha has reduced. Now reports are coming that Raghav’s next target could be 22 MLAs from Delhi and ‘AAP’ leaders from Punjab. The split among MLAs before the Punjab elections could prove fatal for the party. Now Kejriwal is facing a big tension to fill the 7 vacant Rajya Sabha seats and keep the MLAs of Delhi-Punjab united.
