The party criticized Chadha for not raising economic and development issues related to Punjab in Parliament. Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, state president Aman Arora and party leader Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal alleged that Chadha’s silence was disappointing. On this, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha shared an emotional video and said that Punjab is not just a political issue for him, but it is his land, his duty, his soil and his soul. He also shared a compilation video of his past efforts in Parliament to promote the interests of Punjab.

Accused of not raising Punjab issues

AAP leaders have accused MP Raghav Chadha of not taking the party’s stance and aggressive anti-government stance. According to AAP leaders, issues related to Rural Development Fund of around Rs 8,500 crore and GST of around Rs 60,000 crore have not been raised in Parliament. Not only this, the Rs 1,600 crore financial aid announced by the Prime Minister after the floods in Punjab last year was not even discussed in Parliament.

Harpal Singh Cheema said this “passivity” was against the core principles of the Aam Aadmi Party, as the party has a tradition of fearlessly raising public issues. Aman Arora also said that Punjab’s pending economic and relief efforts need continued national attention. In the wake of this controversy, all eyes are now on what Raghav Chadha’s video ‘The Picture is Still Left’ reveals and what resolves the internal conflict within the party.
