On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, Indian politician Raghav Chadha shared a throwback video on Instagram showing his visit to the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain with his wife, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra.
In the video, the couple performed traditional rituals, offered prayers, and joined the Aarti ceremony. Each moment reflected their devotion and focus. The reel also showed them observing the spiritual atmosphere of the temple together.
Raghav Chadha captioned the video, “Shiv is Aadi, Anadi hain, Anant hain. Shiv is Atma, Antaratma hain and Parmatma. Shiv is sacrifice, tapasya, meditation. Shiv is shaurya, pratap, and is the supreme embodiment of simplicity. Bhole is called Bholenath, and raudra is the one who destroys the naive banking religion.
“Devon ke Dev, wishing all of you a very happy Maha Shivaratri, the holy festival of worship of Mahadev. Praying for happiness, peace, strength, and ultimate well-being of all of you. Har Har Mahadev,” Raghav wrote.

The couple tied the knot in September 2023, a month after their temple visit.
