‘Raghav got married to Parineeti because…’ Saurabh Bhardwaj’s revelations created a stir in Delhi politics.
New Delhi: The distance between Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Raghav Chadha has now turned into a bitter war. Ever since Raghav Chadha joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), AAP leaders have been continuously attacking him. But this time senior party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj has said something which has directly raised questions on Raghav’s personal life and his marriage. After this claim of Saurabh Bhardwaj, there is a huge stir in the political circles.
Saurabh Bhardwaj’s sharp attack on marriage
Saurabh Bhardwaj has given a big statement targeting Raghav Chaddha. He claimed that Raghav’s marriage with Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra happened only because the Aam Aadmi Party sent him to the Rajya Sabha. Bhardwaj sarcastically said, “If the party had not sent him to the Rajya Sabha, then there would have been no one to question Raghav.” This statement has added fuel to the fire, as this is the first time that a leader has linked Raghav’s political career to the success of his marriage.
Allegation of ‘conspiracy’ with BJP
Saurabh Bhardwaj not only made personal comments but also made serious political allegations against Raghav. He said that if Raghav had to leave the party, he could have done so, but he conspired with the BJP against the party. Bhardwaj raised the question that whatever issues Raghav raised in Parliament, BJP never strongly opposed them. According to him, all this was part of a well-planned conspiracy and the BJP government was working behind the scenes to polish the ‘image’ of Raghav Chadha.
Kejriwal got the biggest shock till now
For the Aam Aadmi Party, Monday i.e. 27th April 2026 was no less than a nightmare. The Chairman of Rajya Sabha has given official approval to the merger of all 7 MPs of Aam Aadmi Party with BJP. Along with this, a notification has also been issued from the Parliament. This is being considered a huge political blow for Arvind Kejriwal. Apart from Raghav Chadha, the list of MPs joining BJP includes big names like Harbhajan Singh, Swati Maliwal, Sandeep Kumar Pathak, Ashok Kumar Mittal, Vikramjit Singh Sahni and Rajendra Gupta.
After this big development, BJP’s upper hand in Rajya Sabha has become even heavier. Now the total number of BJP MPs in the House has increased to 113, which also includes 5 members nominated by the President. At the same time, Raghav Chadha has also hit back at his old party by releasing a video clip, from which it is clear that this war of words is going to intensify in the coming days.
