Rahul Gandhi is doing “petty politics”, Piyush Goyal said – Gandhi family always compromised with the interests of the country.

New Delhi. Taking aim at Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday alleged that the Congress leader and his party are playing “petty politics” to destabilize the country’s progress and are acting like “puppets” in the hands of anti-India forces.

Speaking at a press conference at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters here, Goyal alleged that the Gandhi family is a ‘compromised’ family and the Congress is a ‘compromised’ political party. The senior BJP leader said, “The Gandhi family has always compromised with the interests of the country and it started with the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.”

Goyal alleged that Gandhi had compromised the “national interest” by joining hands with anti-India forces. He said, “Gandhi has become the “face” of negative politics.” Regarding Sonia Gandhi, he claimed that during the Shadow Power i.e. UPA, the real authority used to work outside the Prime Minister’s Office. In the case of National Herald, party funds were used to transfer assets to a family-controlled entity.

Additionally, foundations linked to foreign donors, including China and the Soros network, raised serious concerns. In another post, Piyush Goyal wrote, “The history of Congress is heavy on the misleading statements of Rahul Gandhi. No matter how much they try to forget, the people of India cannot forget the repeated compromises made by Pandit Nehru, Indira Gandhi to Sonia Gandhi with the national interest.”
