‘Either they did not allow us to dream, or broke them’, Rahul Gandhi’s big charge on the government in the student dialogue in Kota.

Rahul Gandhi Kota Student Rally: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, who reached the student rally in Kota, Rajasthan, interacted with the students. Kota, known as the hub of NEET and JEE, today appeared as a big center of political activities. After reaching Kota by charter plane, Rahul Gandhi directly reached the rally. The main focus of dialogue in the rally was NEET-UG paper leak, alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations, unemployment and other important issues related to students.

NEET fees equal to education budget: Rahul

After the rally, Rahul Gandhi shared a post on his X handle. In the post he wrote, India’s education system has today become just a recovery mechanism. Just imagine, the amount of money families across the country spend just on NEET preparation is equal to the entire education budget of the Government of India. Today lakhs of youth from Kota and from every corner of the country are saying in one voice. This system has done injustice to us.

He further wrote, every youth is different but everyone’s story is the same. Either they were not allowed to dream or the dreams seen were broken. ‘Students’ Echo’ is not just a campaign, it is a revolution. We have to create a system that gives you the right to dream big and supports you in achieving them without mortgaging your life.

The entire system will have to be changed: Sachin Pilot

Congress leader Sachin Pilot, former Deputy CM of Rajasthan, said at Rahul Gandhi’s rally, we have to change the entire system. A new thinking and a new concept will have to be created for how children’s dreams can come true. I am happy that Rahul Gandhi focused on youth instead of politics. All the youth want the country to move forward.

‘Lakhs and crores of rupees snatched from the poor’

At the same time, Congress leader Pawan Kheda, while talking to the media at Rahul Gandhi’s rally, said, today he presented very good data in front of everyone. In the name of these papers, lakhs and crores of rupees are snatched from the poor. It is surprising to see that the way education is being privatized, it will take education out of the reach of poor and middle class people.
