Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Modi government, also slammed Kerala CM
Rahul Gandhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while addressing an election rally in Kottayam, Kerala, targeted the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government. He alleged that because of the Modi government, India has lost the ability to buy oil on its own and India has to take permission from America to buy oil from Russia or Iran.
Middle East crisis and concerns over energy security
Rahul Gandhi said that due to the situation in the Middle East, the country may go through an economic crisis, but India cannot buy petrol or diesel on its own. Attacking the Prime Minister, he said that he is the first Prime Minister of modern India who has endangered the energy security of the country.
Big promises for rubber farmers
Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of rubber farmers of Kerala and targeted the LDF government. He said that in the 2016 manifesto, a promise was made to raise the price of rubber to Rs 250, which has not been achieved yet. Rahul promised that if the UDF government comes to power, the price of rubber will be fixed at Rs 250 in the first cabinet meeting and later it will be increased to Rs 300.
Attack on Kerala Chief Minister
Rahul Gandhi raised questions on Pinarayi Vijayan and asked whether the Chief Minister, his family and children were interrogated? He raised the issue of theft of gold from Sabarimala temple and asked why the PM kept silence on it. Rahul accused Modi that he calls himself the protector of Hindutva, but remains silent on this matter.
Escape from Parliament and attack on the party
In the rally, Rahul claimed that BJP and RSS are afraid of Congress. He said that while speaking in Parliament on Adani and other issues, he was not allowed to speak, and the Prime Minister left Parliament. He warned that the country would face more challenges in the coming months due to the instability of the war.
