Rahul Gandhi Likely to Watch Football Match: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will attend football legend Lionel Messi’s ‘GOAT India Tour’ event at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on December 13. During this, a friendly match will be played between Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Messi. Rahul Gandhi will be present there for this contest.
The Chief Minister had invited Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to attend this event during his visit to Delhi on Thursday. Meanwhile, tight security arrangements are being made for this one-hour event on Saturday night. Thousands of people are eagerly waiting to see Messi’s magic live on the field. Authorities have made full preparations to conduct the event smoothly, which is expected to attract 39,000 spectators.
Police have taken several steps to control the crowd. Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudhir Babu said that only people with tickets will be allowed to enter the stadium. A total of 2,500 policemen will be deployed to secure the event. Police have stopped traffic on several roads around the stadium, located in the busy Uppal area.
Messi will reach Hyderabad at 4 pm
Messi will reach Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at 4 pm. Before going to the stadium, he will go to Taj Falaknuma Hotel to attend a program. He will stay there after the event. After that, a friendly match will be played between Messi and Revanth Reddy in the night.
CM Revanth Reddy has been practicing with the players for this match for the last several days at different grounds in the city. Revanth Reddy will take charge of the RR9 team. This match is part of Messi’s ‘GOAT Tour 2025’. The Chief Minister will wear jersey number 9 and Messi will wear his famous jersey number 10.

Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that thousands of football fans will come to watch the match. He appealed to the people to reach on time and take their seats so that safety and convenience is maintained. He also informed that a separate route has been made for the movement of VIPs and VVIPs. Apart from Rahul Gandhi, many other ministers are expected to attend this match.
