Rahul Gandhi said – Lies and violence are the basic principles of Modi government, removal of Sonam Wangchuk from Jantar Mantar is wrong, know what else he said?

New Delhi. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has targeted the Central Government over the removal of environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk from Jantar Mantar by Delhi Police. Rahul Gandhi said that the basic principles of Modi government are “falsehood and violence”. The Congress MP wrote on ‘X’ that it was wrong to remove Sonam Wangchuk from Jantar Mantar when she was sitting on a non-violent hunger strike.

Congress also criticized the police action at Jantar Mantar. The party said the incident of Wangchuk’s removal from there is a “blot” on the country’s democracy and Constitution. Delhi Police on Monday removed environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was on fast unto death at Jantar Mantar, from the protest site and admitted her to the hospital. Regarding this, the police have said that following the instructions of the Delhi High Court, they have admitted Sonam Wangchuk to the hospital.
