New Delhi, 11 February. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, while discussing the budget on Wednesday, the 11th day of the budget session of Parliament, fiercely targeted the central government. He said that the sequence in martial arts is grip, choke and tap. This grip also happens in politics. But grip, choke and tap remain hidden in politics. The circumstances of the world are changing rapidly. We are going through a period of war. The global situation of the world is changing rapidly.
‘I am saying that you have sold India, aren’t you ashamed?’
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said, ‘I am saying that you have sold India. Aren’t you ashamed of selling India? Don’t you have any shame in selling India? You have sold our mother, Mother India. The funny thing is that I know that under normal circumstances the Prime Minister does not sell India. Do you know why they sold India? Because they are strangling them. He is holding his neck. We can see fear in the eyes of the Prime Minister.

nothing special in the budget
He said, ‘There is a new challenge before the 140 crore people of the country. With the advent of AI, a different kind of crisis is visible. Data is like petrol for AI. There is nothing special in the budget. There is nothing related to data in the budget. There is nothing to compete with Chinese data. America only wants India’s data. America and China have their eyes on India’s data. India has the most data. America needs India’s data to save the dollar. There is no mention of current challenges in the budget.
The most valuable thing in the competition between America and China is Indian data.
The Congress MP said, ‘I would like to make one thing clear, the most valuable thing in the competition between America and China is Indian data. If Americans want to remain a superpower, and if Americans want to save their dollars, the key is Indian data.
Indian people have the power to save the dollar.
The Leader of Opposition said, ‘If INDIA Alliance was in talks with President Trump, then let me tell you what we would have said. First of all we would say to President Trump, the most important thing in this equation is Indian data. You want to save your dollars? we are your friends. We appreciate you. We want to help you save your dollar, but please remember that if you want to save your dollar, the biggest asset that can save your dollar is with the Indian people.

Population is not a disaster, Population is the greatest asset
Rahul Gandhi said, ‘What we put on the table are our people, their wisdom, what they do, their likes, dislikes, their imagination and their fears. It has suddenly become valuable in the 21st century. It had no value in the 20th century. I remember many people used to say that population is a burden, population is a disaster. No, population is the greatest asset you can have. It’s a strength, but it’s a strength only when you recognize that data.’
President Trump should understand – ‘You will not talk to us as if we are your servants.’
The Congress MP said, ‘President Trump, if you want access to this data, please understand that you will talk to us on an equal basis. You will not talk to us as if we are your servants. The second thing we would say is that Mr. Trump, please understand that our energy security is our energy security. Whatever happens, we will protect our energy security. The third thing we would say is that President Trump, we understand that you have a voter base, an agricultural voter base. We understand that you need to save your farmers, but we will also save our farmers.
Modi government gave up control on trade rules
Rahul Gandhi said, ‘We will not be made equal to Pakistan. President Trump has decided that the Pakistan Army Chief will have breakfast with him, so we have to say something about it. What has happened now? You have made a trade deal, the thing that is going to change India in the 21st century, the thing that is going to make us a superpower in the 21st century, this is what the Modi government has done with our data. We give up control over our digital trade rules.
‘The dollar is being challenged and American supremacy‘
According to Rahul Gandhi, ‘The Prime Minister has said and surprisingly the National Security Agency (NSA) has also said the same, that the era of war is over. In fact, we are entering an era of war. Therefore we are entering a period of instability. The dollar is being challenged and so is American supremacy. We are moving from the era of one superpower to a new era that we cannot predict. This is an unstable world, the Economic Survey also says the same and I agree with it.
‘We are moving from a period of stability to a period of instability’
Rahul Gandhi said, ‘I was looking at the economic survey. I got two main points. First, we are living in an era full of geopolitical conflicts, where conflict is continuously increasing. China, Russia and other powers are challenging America’s dominance. Second, we are living in an era of the use of energy and financial weapons. Its main message is that we are moving from a period of stability to a period of instability.
