Addressing a press conference at the Congress headquarters in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi attacked the central government and said that the country’s education system has been ‘rigged’ during the current government. Calling Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as ‘corrupt’ and ‘incompetent’, Rahul Gandhi reiterated his demand for his resignation. Rahul said, ‘Students are demanding the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. This is a legitimate demand. Pradhan is a corrupt and incompetent person. They should be removed. Supporting the students’ demand, Gandhi said Pradhan was a symbol of this entire mess and should be removed. He accused the Education Minister of ‘ruining India’s education system, which was our greatest asset’.
10 years, 152 papers leaked, 7.5 crore students affected and 0 punishment?
Presenting the figures, Rahul claimed, ‘Papers have been leaked at least 152 times in the last 10 years. 7.5 crore students were affected by this, but no accountability was fixed on anyone for this. Pradhan should be shown the way out, he is incapable of continuing in office. Our education system was known to be the best in the world, but today it has become flawed.
