“Rahul Gandhi’s attack in Assam, said – this election is about Zubin Garg’s love versus Himanta Sarma’s hatred.”

Shiv Shankar Savita- Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, while addressing an election rally in Assam’s Bokajan assembly constituency on Thursday, made a strong attack on Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Describing this election as a fight between two ideologies, he gave the example of famous singer Zubin Garg. Rahul Gandhi said that people like Zubin Garg are the real identity of Assam, who talk about unity, brotherhood and respect. He said, “Zubin Garg ji always worked to connect people. Whoever went to him returned with happiness. His thinking is of love and brotherhood, which is completely opposite to the ideology of Himanta Biswa Sarma.” The Congress leader clearly said that this Assam election is not just a political contest but a battle of ideas. “On one side there is love, unity and respect, while on the other side there is hatred, violence and ego. The public has to decide which path they want to choose,” he said.

Country’s most corrupt CM Biswa Sarma

During the rally, Rahul Gandhi appealed to the people to vote in support of Congress candidate Ratan Ingati. He assured that if the Congress government is formed, it will work in the interest of the poor and the common people. He said, “We will form a government that will work for the people of Assam and Assam will be run from Assam only.” During this, Rahul Gandhi made sharp allegations against Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and said that he has betrayed many people in his political career. He said, “Himanta Biswa Sarma ultimately betrayed whoever he worked with. Today he is one of the most corrupt chief ministers of the country.”

PM is running land ATM- Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi also alleged that Chief Minister Sarma, in connivance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, is running “land ATM” in Assam. He said that the land of common people is being snatched away and handed over to big industrialists, due to which the rights of the local people are being affected. In his speech, Rahul Gandhi also mentioned the cultural heritage of Assam. Recalling great personalities like Shankar Dev, Jyoti Prasad Aggarwal, Bhupen Hazarika and Tarun Gogoi, he said that all of them gave the message of connecting people and spreading love.
