Rahul Gandhi’s big statement in Lucknow, said

Tezzbuzz Desk – At the Congress constitutional conference in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, party president Rahul Gandhi openly attacked the shortcomings of the Congress and the policies of the central government. He made many important points in the conference, emphasizing the participation of Dalit, backward and tribal communities.

Mention of shortcomings of Congress and Kanshi Ram

Rahul Gandhi said that Kanshiram became successful only because of past shortcomings in Congress. He said, “If Congress had worked properly, Kanshi Ram would not have been able to do such big politics. If Jawaharlal Nehru had been alive today, Kanshi Ram would not have become the Chief Minister of Congress.”

Accusations on the central government

Accusing the central government, Rahul Gandhi said that today you will not find Dalit, backward or tribal doctors in any big hospital, whereas the Constitution gives every community the right to equal participation. Giving the example of the list of MNREGA, he said that 85% of the beneficiaries in it are backward, Dalit, tribal and minorities.

Rahul Gandhi said that the representation of OBC, Dalit and tribal communities in high positions in RSS is negligible. He said, “When it comes to running the country or sharing power, they are told that this country is not theirs. This is completely against the Constitution.”

Policies of Ambedkar, Gandhi and Kanshi Ram

Rahul Gandhi said that Ambedkar, Gandhi and Kanshi Ram never compromised on their principles. Criticizing the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that the Modi government compromised the energy security of the country. He alleged that now America is deciding from where India should buy oil.

Caste census and share in power to backward people

Rahul Gandhi stressed that Congress has decided that caste census will be conducted in the coming time and backward, Dalit and tribal communities will be given due place in the power centre. He said that this step is necessary to strengthen the rights of these communities and the basic principles of the Constitution.

In this conference, Rahul Gandhi not only openly discussed the shortcomings of Congress, but also criticized the decisions of the Central Government and RSS, due to which social inequality is increasing. His objective was clear—to ensure the participation of Dalit, backward and tribal communities and to protect democratic rights in accordance with the spirit of the Constitution.
