Ghaziabad. Congress MPs and opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi had gone out on Wednesday to take precautions. His convoy has been stopped at the UP border. The police did not allow them to recover. During this time, there was an altercation between the police and the Congress leaders. However, after not getting permission, Congress leaders are now returning to Delhi.

During this, while talking to the media, Rahul Gandhi said, we are trying to be careful. The police is refusing. Being the leader of the opposition, it is my right to go there, but even then I am not being allowed to go. I am ready to go there alone, but this was also not accepted. We just want to be careful. Want to meet the people there. But…our constitutional rights are not being given to us. This is the new India, in which work is being done to destroy the Constitution.

During this, Priyanka Gandhi said while talking to the media, Rahul Gandhi ji is the leader of opposition, his constitutional rights are different from the rest of the people. They cannot be stopped. Rahul Gandhi ji said that I will go alone with the UP police, but the police was not ready even for this. The police have no answers to these things. If such situations cannot be handled in UP then why does BJP say so proudly that we have maintained law and order.

We are trying to stay calm. The police is refusing.

Along with this, Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinet said, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi ji, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi ji, General Secretary in-charge Avinash Pandey ji, PCC President Ajay Rai ji and all the Congress MPs and workers wanted to be careful. Rahul ji said that in Indian culture there is no restriction on meeting the bereaved families, he was ready to go alone in the administration car.

He further said, even after that the police and administration of UP are stopping them. If no solution is found even after talking to the DGP, then somewhere a lot of questions are raised on the administration and police of Uttar Pradesh, and their role is also doubtful.
