Rail One, the superapp of Indian Railways, has achieved a major milestone by crossing 2 crore downloads in less than 8 months of its launch and has also crossed 5 lakh tickets per day this month.
This app, developed by Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), was launched by Honorable Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on 1 July 2025.
Since then, its popularity has grown rapidly among rail travelers across the country.
Rail One App is emerging as an integrated digital gateway, providing a range of services to passengers through a single intuitive interface.
Reflecting its operational efficiency and reliability, Rail One is now facilitating around 6 lakh ticket bookings per day, underscoring its strength and growing user confidence.
The app integrates key railway services including reserved ticket booking, unreserved ticket booking, platform tickets, train enquiry, PNR status and other passenger-centric features.
This achievement reflects Indian Railways’ continuous efforts towards digital transformation and enhancing passenger convenience.
With its scalable architecture, intuitive design and focus on user experience, Rail One is reshaping the way citizens engage with railway services.
Rail One is continuously evolving with new features and AI-driven capabilities, in line with the broader vision of building a modern, technology-enabled railway ecosystem for India.
