Now passengers will not be able to travel in railways by showing screenshots. Now the copy, photo or PDF etc. sent on WhatsApp will not be valid at all. Action can also be taken against you if you travel with these things.
Railways says that this step is being taken to stop misuse of digital tickets. Now you will have to keep the original ticket with you to travel.
Only original ticket will be valid
According to media reports, if you are traveling in railways then do not travel at all by taking a screenshot of the ticket. To avoid fine, you will have to travel only with original ticket. Digital ticket will be considered valid only when you have the original ticket. Action can also be taken against you for violating the rules. A digital ticket will be considered valid only if it is available on the same mobile and registered number from which it was originally generated.
Keep these things with you during travel
If you are traveling by railway, then travel with only a few things with you. If you are traveling with an unreserved ticket, then keep the registered mobile with you through which you have booked the ticket through the app. Apart from this, keep valid proof like Aadhar card, identity card and driving license with you. While checking the ticket, TTE may also ask you for these things.
