News India Live, Digital Desk: Northern Railway has informed that scheduled system maintenance work is going to be done in Delhi Passenger Reservation System (PRS). Due to this updation process 14/15 March 2026 around midnight 3 hours Services will remain disrupted till. This work is being done to improve the efficiency and security of the system.

For how long will the services remain closed? According to Railways, shutdown time 14th and 15th March (Saturday/Sunday) at midnight 11:45 pm to 02:45 am Will last till.

Which services will be affected? The following services will remain completely closed during this 3-hour period:

Online Ticket Booking: Passengers will not be able to book Delhi PRS tickets through IRCTC website or app.

PNR Enquiry: The facility to check the current status of the ticket (PNR Status) will not be available.

Ticket Cancellation: During this period, passengers will not be able to cancel their tickets online.

Inquiry Services (139): PNR and reservation related inquiry services will also be affected.

Charting and ERD: Services related to preparing chart of trains and ERD (Electronic Reservation Diary) will also not work temporarily.

Advice for travelers: Railways has appealed to the passengers to complete their journey planning and work like ticket booking or cancellation before or after this scheduled time, so that they do not face any inconvenience at the last moment.
