Railways reduces advance booking period to 60 days, special ticket checking drive also launched

The rules related to advance booking of railway tickets will be changed from November 1. The advanced reservation period of railway tickets will be reduced from 120 days to 60 days from November 1. Apart from this, there is an increase in the number of passengers traveling without tickets during festival days, to control this, a special ticket-checking drive has also been launched by the Railways.

It is important for passengers to follow the rules

In this matter, passengers are also appealed to follow the rules. Patrolling of police men in AC coaches of express and mail trains has been increased. It has been clearly stated that if any person is arrested for violating rules, legal action is taken against him.

Many TTEs say that many policemen travel without tickets and misbehave when asked for tickets. Passengers traveling without tickets violate the rules and also give threats which is wrong. That's why all this checking is being done.
