Railways will not refund even a single rupee for this mistake while canceling the ticket, be ALERT now…

For this reason, most people choose trains for long distance journeys. There are two ways to travel in the train – one in reserved coach and one in unreserved coach. Do not be careless while booking tickets

Most of the people make reservations in reserved coaches only. People book tickets 60 days in advance. But when the time of travel approaches, the ticket has to be cancelled. It is worth noting that due to carelessness, people book tickets wrongly, due to which they do not get refund. Let us tell you the important rules related to refund.

If you do this then you will not get any refund

According to the Railways, the chart of reservation compartment is made four hours before the departure of the train. Like- who will get the seat where? If you cancel the ticket after the chart is prepared, you will not get a refund. That means, if you book your ticket four hours before the departure of the train, you will get a refund.

Even in this case, Railways does not give refund on ticket cancellation.

If you have got a confirmed seat through Tatkal booking and you cancel that ticket, then you do not get any refund from the Railways. If the Tatkal ticket is not confirmed then the Railways itself cancels your ticket. In such a case, the entire money is refunded to you after deducting the service charge. If you cancel the confirmed Tatkal ticket yourself, you will not get anything.
