These days the weather patterns are changing rapidly in the country’s capital Delhi. The maximum temperature on Wednesday is expected to be 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 17 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain once again in the next 24 hours i.e. on Thursday. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain around March 27, which is expected to provide some relief from the heat.

There is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the hilly states of North India, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There is a possibility of rain and thunder in different districts of these states between 26th to 30th March. Snowfall may also occur in high altitude areas.

What is the condition of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh?

Talking about the plains, there is a possibility of light rain in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. The weather may change in Uttar Pradesh on March 27, where light rain and strong winds are expected at many places. According to the Meteorological Department, a new western disturbance will be active between March 28 and 30, due to which large parts of North-West India may see another round of rain. During this period, there may be rain and storm in many areas of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.

Rain alert in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya

The effect of weather will be clearly visible in North-East India also. On March 26, there may be strong winds along with rain for several days in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. There has also been a warning of heavy rain at some places. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura also.

Eastern Indian states like Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal will also see the effect of rain and strong winds on different days. Especially in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, there is a possibility of heavy rain with hailstorm and strong winds.

What is the condition of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh?

There may be light rain with thunderstorms in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh between March 26 and 28. At the same time, light rain will continue in some parts of Maharashtra in western India. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and strong winds in Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala for the next few days.
