It is raining heavily in the country’s capital Delhi on Sunday. Delhi-NCR is also in the grip of rain. The Meteorological Department had issued a yellow alert for rain on Sunday. Due to rain, strong winds were blowing in Delhi and surrounding areas. According to IMD, it rained in Delhi at a speed of 30 to 35 kilometers per hour. There was even a dust storm in many areas. Along with the rain, thunder is also heard and lightning is also flashing. People have been asked to remain alert, due to which the temperature has dropped by two to three degrees. People are hoping to get some relief from the heat.

Temperature dropped in Delhi

After the rain, there has been a decline in the temperature of Delhi-NCR. The maximum temperature in Delhi has fallen to 29 degrees while the minimum temperature has reached 19 degrees Celsius. It is expected that the temperature may drop further by evening.

Traffic in Delhi-NCR has been affected due to rain. There is a possibility of water logging in the capital Delhi and surrounding areas. People have been asked to remain alert.
