‘Rain of death in Iran’? After the Israeli attack, the sky is covered with poisonous smoke and black drops of oil are raining.

News India Live, Digital Desk: The ongoing war in West Asia has now become a crisis for nature too. Hair-raising pictures are emerging from Iran’s capital Tehran. The sky of Tehran has become completely black after Israel’s attacks on oil depots and refineries. The situation is such that even during the day there is darkness like night and not water but ‘poison’ is raining from the sky. ‘Black Monster’ swallows the sky: Outcry in Tehran. Local residents have described this scene as ‘apocalyptic’. Hydrocarbons, sulfur and nitrogen oxides released from the massive fire caused by the attacks have made the air poisonous. Black rain: The rain in Tehran on Sunday left people in panic. The drops falling from the clouds were soaked in oil, due to which the roads, vehicles and houses turned black. Breathing became difficult: The air has become so poisonous that people are suffering from eye irritation, throat infection and severe difficulty in breathing. Iranian Red Crescent’s warning: “Do not leave the house.” Iran’s ‘Red Crescent Society’ has issued an emergency advisory. It says that this rain can be ‘extremely dangerous and acidic’. Danger to skin and lungs: It has been warned that exposure to this black rain can cause chemical burns to the skin and permanent damage to the lungs. Advice to stay indoor: People have been advised to keep windows and doors closed and not go out immediately after the rain. Do not use AC: To prevent toxic particles from coming inside the house, Air conditioners have been asked to be kept off. Israel’s claim: “These were military targets”. On the other hand, the Israeli army (IDF) says that they only targeted the oil depots which were being used by the Iranian army to fuel its military machinery and ballistic missiles. However, these attacks have pushed the city with a population of crores into a major ecological crisis. Alarm bells for the world. Experts believe that this is not only Iran’s problem. This poisonous smoke and carbon emissions emanating from oil depots are also very dangerous for the global climate. If this war is not stopped soon, the entire region may be in the grip of a major health crisis.
