Raipur News: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has said that the message of Saint Shiromani Baba Guru Ghasidas “Mankhe Mankhe Ek Samaan” is relevant even today for the entire human society, country and the world, which shows the path of social harmony, equality and brotherhood. The Chief Minister was addressing the Guru Ghasidas Folk Art Festival and State Level Open Panthi Dance Competition organized in Bemetara district today.
In the programme, the Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 44 development works costing Rs 165 crore 54 lakh for the development of Navagarh area. On this occasion, he presented the keys of the houses to the beneficiaries for entering the house of about 950 newly constructed houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He announced Rs 40 crore for expansion of irrigation projects in Bemetara district, Rs 5 lakh each for construction of CC roads to 10 gram panchayats of Navagarh. He inaugurated the newly constructed Atal Complex built in the memory of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee and unveiled his statue. He formally hoisted the white flag at Jaitkham in Navagarh and also performed Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of Satnam Temple to be built there at a cost of Rs 12 lakh.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that Saint Shiromani Guru Ghasidas worked to eliminate casteism, discrimination, untouchability and social discrimination prevalent in the society. He showed the path of truth and non-violence and gave the message of tying humanity together. He said that in accordance with his messages, the state government is running many revolutionary and public welfare schemes in the interest of the public. He said that paddy purchase in the interest of farmers, Mahtari Vandan Yojana for economic empowerment of women and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for homeless families are proving to be milestones in the direction of development of the state. Remembering Chhattisgarh state creator, former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he said that his entire life has been dedicated to national service, good governance, democratic values and public welfare. He said that Atal ji was not only a great leader but also a symbol of thought, compassion and dedication.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that the world’s tallest Jaitkham built in Giroudpuri has today become a center of global attraction, where tourists from India and abroad come to see the life of Baba. Food and Civil Supplies Minister Dayaldas Baghel said that Guru Ghasidas Folk Art Festival is a symbol of social unity. On this occasion, the winners of Guru Ghasidas Folk Art Festival and State Level Open Panthi Dance Competition were honoured. He distributed materials and funds to the beneficiaries in the exhibition organized by various departments related to public welfare schemes. MLA Shri Deepesh Sahu, Ishwar Sahu, Anuj Sharma, Punnulal Mohle, many public representatives, Panchayat representatives, distinguished citizens and a large number of villagers were present in the program.
