MoU signed between district administration, SECL and EDCIL in the presence of Chief Minister

Raipur News: In the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, an important agreement was signed today in Bagiya with the aim of providing quality and modern educational facilities in the government schools of Jashpur district. To promote digital education in schools, a tripartite MoU was signed between District Administration Jashpur, SECL and EDCIL. On this occasion, Collector Rohit Vyas on behalf of the district administration, General Manager C.M. Verma on behalf of SECL and Project Director Vikas Sehrawat on behalf of EDCIL signed the MoU.

Chief Minister Sai said that it is the need of the hour to make education interesting and effective through modern technology, so that children of rural and remote areas can be provided with better educational resources like those in cities. Praising this initiative, he said that this will develop innovation, curiosity and technical proficiency in the students, which will become a strong foundation for their bright future.

Under the MOU, interactive panels will be installed in selected government schools of Jashpur district in a phased manner. Through these tools, teachers will be able to make classes more interesting, simple and effective by using digital content, videos, presentations and e-learning resources. Besides, provisions for installation of interactive panels as well as their training, operation and regular maintenance have also been included in the MOU, so that continuous and effective use of the equipment can be ensured.

An amount of Rs 5 crore has been sanctioned by SECL from CSR head for this project, under which 206 interactive panels will be installed in government schools of the district. With this initiative, hundreds of students of the district will get the facility of quality digital education. Collector Rohit Vyas expressed his gratitude for the cooperation of SECL and EDCIL and expressed confidence that this project will see significant improvement in the educational level of the students.
