Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana: Many schemes are run by the Central and State Government to advance and educate the daughters of the country. These schemes of the government provide strength to the families of daughters from their birth to education and marriage.

Under the Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana, run by the Rajasthan government, it provides financial assistance to the daughters of the state from birth till the completion of their education. This scheme was started by the state government in the year 2016 with the aim of stopping feticide in Rajasthan and promoting gender equality.

What is Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana?

The Rajasthan government had started this scheme to educate daughters and promote their health. Under this scheme, an assistance amount of Rs 50 thousand is sent to the account of daughters from their birth till they pass 12th class. This amount is released directly into the daughters’ accounts in 6 different installments.

Let us tell you that the benefit of this scheme will be given only to the permanent residents of Rajasthan. To avail the benefit of this scheme, the child must have been born in a hospital or health center after June 1, 2016. If you fall in this category then you can take advantage of this scheme.

Which documents are required for the scheme?

To apply under the scheme, you can apply by visiting the online portal of the government. You can also apply by going to the Women and Child Development Office. Documents required to apply for the scheme-

  • baby girl birth certificate
  • Aadhaar Card or Bhamashah Card
  • Maternal and Child Health Card
  • school admission certificate

How will I get this amount in installments?

  • Rs 2,500 will be given in the first installment at the time of birth.
  • In the second installment, Rs 2500 will be given after the child turns 1 year old and vaccination is completed.
  • Third installment of Rs 4000 on admission in school.
  • The fourth installment of Rs 5000 will be given after going to class 6.
  • The fifth installment of Rs 11,000 is given at the time of admission of the daughter in class 10th.
  • The last installment of Rs 25,000 is given on passing 12th class.
