Jaipur. SI Recruitment Exam 2021 has been canceled by Rajasthan High Court while giving a big decision on Saturday. After listening to all the parties, Rajasthan High Court has given this decision today.

The Division Bench of Rajasthan High Court has upheld the decision of the Single Bench given on the Sub Inspector Recruitment Examination 2021. Meaning SI Recruitment 2021 will remain cancelled. The division bench of Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma in the High Court has given this decision. The High Court has upheld the decision of the single bench to cancel the recruitment, but quashed the suo motu cognizance taken by the single bench against the members of RPSC.
SI recruitment exam will be canceled
Advocate Harendra Neel, who is also acting in the case, said that the court has upheld the decision of the single bench. The Division Bench has also held that the observations of the Single Bench against the RPSC members are correct. Now it is not possible to do sorting in the recruitment examination. Therefore the exam will remain cancelled. Notification released on 3 February 2021 for SI Recruitment 2021 exam. The recruitment examination was held from 13 to 15 September 2021 for 859 posts. About 7 lakh 97 thousand candidates applied in this.
In SI Recruitment Examination, 3 lakh 80 thousand candidates appeared in the written examination. 20 thousand 359 candidates passed the physical test. 3 thousand 391 candidates were selected for interview. The final result was released on 1 June 2023.

There were allegations of rigging in the examination
There were allegations of large scale rigging in the examination. The investigation was handed over to SOG. Names of even RPSC members came to light in the case. After this the matter also gained political significance. RPSC members Ramuram Raika and Babulal Katra were arrested. After this, a petition was filed on 13 August 2024 regarding cancellation of the recruitment examination. After a long hearing of this petition, the single bench of the High Court had given the decision to cancel the recruitment examination on 28 August 2025, but the selected SI candidates challenged this decision in the division bench of the High Court.
The division bench had put an interim stay on the decision of the single bench on September 8. After this, those candidates who wanted the recruitment examination to be canceled reached the Supreme Court with the petition. On September 24, the Supreme Court reinstated the decision of the single bench and ordered the division bench of the High Court to take a decision within 3 months. Along with this, field posting of selected SI candidates was banned.
