Kota man’s VRS to care for sick wife, she passes away at his farewell party | Video
New Delhi: A joyous farewell party in Kota, Rajasthan, took an unexpected turn when a woman, Tina Sandal, passed away suddenly on her husband’s voluntary retirement to take care of her. The tragic event unfolded during a celebratory gathering, leaving her husband, Devendra Sandal, and all those present in shock and mourning.
The tragic event was captured on video and spread rapidly. Tina, a heart patient who had been unwell for some time, was attending the farewell party with her husband. Devendra, a manager at the Central Warehousing Corporation, had recently opted for early retirement to dedicate himself to caring for Tina’s health needs.
The event appeared to be proceeding normally, with Tina smiling and posing for photographs, adorned with a marigold garland and holding flowers. However, this seemingly happy façade masked a deteriorating health condition that would soon prove fatal.
A video captures the moment Tina’s health took a drastic turn. While posing for pictures, she complained of dizziness to her husband, leaning back in her chair while he attempted to massage her back. “Mujhe chakkar aa rahe hain (I am feeling dizzy),” she says to her husband.
Despite requests for water and encouragement to smile for more photographs, Tina suddenly collapsed forward onto a table laden with rose petals.
Devendra’s attempts to assist his wife were futile, as she had already lost consciousness. Despite the swift actions of those present and the rushed transport to a nearby hospital, doctors sadly pronounced Tina dead upon arrival.
