Rajasthan Public Service Commission released new date of RO-EO recruitment exam, change in PRO exam date also

Jaipur: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSE) has announced new dates after the cancellation of Revenue Officer and Executive Officer (RO-EO) recruitment examination. Now this examination will be held on 23 March 2025. After the announcement of the new date of recruitment examination by Rajasthan Public Service Commission, while some candidates have got more time for preparation, some students are feeling disappointed due to the long gap.

Let us tell you that the paper of this examination held on 14 May 2023 was leaked. Due to which the examination had to be cancelled. According to the information, after the case was registered in New City Police Station, Bikaner on 4th May 2023 itself, the challan was presented on 6th August 2023. It was stated in the challan that excessive copying took place through electronic devices at the examination centres. A total of 96,483 candidates had participated in this examination for 111 posts.

The commission handed over the investigation to SIT and canceled the examination.

After the complaint of paper leak and copying, Rajasthan Public Service Commission took immediate action and handed over the investigation of the case to SIT. Along with this, SOG was directed to take special care to ensure that such incidents do not happen in future. Due to this, the Commission had decided to cancel the examination and conduct the examination again.

Exam will be held on 23rd March

The Commission informed that the examination will be conducted again for all eligible candidates. The examination will be conducted from 23rd March. The Commission has issued an official notification.

28 arrests were made in paper leak case

It is noteworthy that in the paper leak case, on October 19, SOG raided a total of 7 districts including Nagaur, Jodhpur, Churu, Hanumangarh, Sikar, Jaipur and Bikaner. During this period, SOG had arrested 28 accused. In which 11 government employees were also included.

PRO recruitment exam will now be held on 17th May

Let us tell you that Rajasthan Public Service Commission has also made changes in the Public Relations Officer (PRO) recruitment examination. Earlier this exam was to be held on 23 March, but due to EO-RO exam, now this exam will be held on 17 May 2025.
