Rajasthan Weather: It will be cloudy even today, chances of thunderstorm and rain in 8 districts, weather pattern will change again from Monday.

Due to the effect of western disturbance, the weather will remain changed in two divisions of Rajasthan on Sunday. Today, there is a possibility of rain with movement of clouds in 8 districts. There may be partly cloudy sky in some parts on March 23 also. However, from 24-25 March the weather will gradually start becoming dry and the temperature will start increasing again. On Saturday (21 March 2026), the impact of rain and strong winds was seen in the border districts including Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Barmer and Sriganganagar.

During this period, a drop of 3 to 5 degrees Celsius has been recorded in the maximum temperature. This untimely rain and hailstorm has increased the problems of the farmers. In areas like Ramgarh and Kuchdi of Jaisalmer, harvested crops have been damaged due to water logging in the fields. The maximum temperature was recorded at 32.4 degrees Celsius in Jodhpur and 32.2 degrees Celsius in Barmer.

Weather will change in Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions

According to the daily report of the Meteorological Centre, Jaipur (IMD), at present another weak western disturbance is active, due to which there is a possibility of light rain or drizzle with thunder in the districts of Jodhpur, Bikaner division and Shekhawati region of western Rajasthan on Sunday (22 March 2026). In most of the remaining parts, the weather is likely to remain mainly dry for the next 4-5 days. At present, there is no possibility of heatwave in the state in the next one week.

Yellow alert for 8 districts

On Sunday, there is a possibility of strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, thunder and lightning in Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jalore, Bikaner, Nagaur, Sriganganagar, Dausa and Karauli. There may be light rain with dust storm in these areas.
