While talking to news agency ANI, Indian Cricket Board Vice President Rajeev Shukla has given a statement on the future of Gautam Gambhir. He says that the news of Gambhir’s removal is completely baseless, there is no discussion regarding it in the board. He said,
“I want to completely reject the speculations going on in the media that there is no discussion in the board regarding the removal of Gautam Gambhir. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia has made it clear that no plan has been considered yet to bring in a new head coach.”
