Rajeshchandra Tiwari was elected President and Shivranjan Yadav General Secretary in the elections of Joint Advocates Association.
Lalganj, Pratapgarh. Rajesh Tiwari has been elected President and Shivranjan Yadav General Secretary in the elections of Joint Advocates Association. Committee Chairman Gyan Prakash Shukla announced the election results in the counting of votes which continued till late night on Tuesday. The same election committee handed over certificates of victory to the elected officials. There were five candidates in the fray for the post of President.
Rajeshchandra Tiwari got the maximum votes 259 votes. He defeated his nearest rival, former Sangh president Sandeep Singh, by thirty votes. Former president Vikas Mishra had to be satisfied with 138 votes. Praveen Yadav got 26 votes and Vijay Kumar Tiwari got one vote.
For the post of Senior Vice President Civil, Abrar Ahmed Khan secured 220 votes and defeated his nearest rival former Vice President Vibhakar Nath Shukla by eight votes. Nilesh Singh Nirbhay got 154 votes and outgoing General Secretary Harishchandra Pandey got only 44 votes. Jaikaran Singh got 31 votes and Mahendra Saroj got 20 votes. Namvar Singh obtained one hundred and fifty-eight votes for the post of Vice President.
He defeated his nearest rival Rajesh Dwivedi by five votes. Ramkumar Pandey got 150 votes, Sumit Tripathi got 36 votes, Mukesh Tiwari got 97 votes and Ajay Sharma got 60 votes. On the post of General Secretary, Shivranjan Yadav secured 223 votes and defeated his nearest rival Lal Snehansh Pratap Singh by nine votes. Snehansh Pratap Singh got two hundred and fourteen votes, Arvind Pandey Tapan got one hundred and one votes, Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari Bhim got fifty six votes and Santosh Pasi got twenty votes.
On the post of Treasurer, Atul Singh secured a record thirty sixty nine votes and defeated his nearest rival, outgoing Treasurer Harinarayan Pandey Deepak. Hari Narayan got two hundred and eighty nine votes. Santosh Tiwari won the post of Income Expenditure Inspector by obtaining two hundred and fifty-seven votes. On this, Ranjit Sahu got two hundred and forty-two votes and Anant Prasad Tripathi got one hundred and fifty-two votes as his nearest rival.
Sachin Pandey defeated Sandeep Verma for the post of co-minister by securing two hundred and eighty-five votes. Sandeep Verma got 230 votes and Ashutosh Pandey got 135 votes. For the post of Publicity Minister, Aman Dwivedi secured 304 votes and defeated Ramlalan Verma who got 213 votes. Rahul Yadav got 130 votes.
Five out of six candidates were declared victorious for the post of Member Executive. Kamalnath Saroj, Chandraprakash Chanchal, Nirbhay Shukla, Prashant Pandey and Rajkumar Mishra were declared victorious on this post. Advocate Ahmed had to face defeat in the member executive. Recounting of votes was demanded by the nearest candidates for both the posts of Vice President. After this, the election committee counted the votes of these candidates again in the presence of the candidates and their agents.
At around quarter to eleven in the night, Election Committee Chairman Gyan Prakash Shukla handed over certificates to the winning candidates in front of the office. Outgoing President Anil Tripathi Mahesh welcomed the new executive. The newly elected President Rajeshchandra Tiwari expressed gratitude to his fellow advocates for their support and expressed his resolve to remain dedicated to the interests of advocates. At the time of certificate distribution, Elder Committee Chairman Rajendra Mishra, Election Committee General Secretary Virendra Singh Agai, Ram Mohan Singh, Devi Prasad Mishra, Shivakant Upadhyay, Ram Lagan Yadav, Santosh Pandey, Shailendra Chaturvedi were present.
On Wednesday, the newly elected officials in Tehsil and Civil Complex shared the celebration of victory by sweetening the mouths of their colleagues. This time, due to elections being held on all the posts, the counting of votes could be completed late in the night. However, as soon as the results came, the supporters of the victorious officials celebrated in the tehsil premises with musical instruments.
As the counting of votes continued till late night, Lalganj Kotwal Alok Kumar and Sangipur SO Gaurav Trivedi were seen deployed as a precautionary measure at the counting venue with heavy force.
