Recently, during a conversation with the media at the title launch event of his new film, Rajinikanth was asked a question regarding this. On this he said in clear words that he had already personally congratulated Vijay. Rajinikanth said that when he had directly spoken to Vijay and wished him, he did not feel the need to post it separately on social media. According to him, the personal congratulations were enough for him. After this statement of Rajinikanth came to light, the speculations that had been going on for several days came to a full stop. His reply made it clear that not posting on social media did not mean any kind of resentment or distance.
