Rajinikanth Takes on a New Avatar in ‘Dharman’: Get Ready for ‘The Deadly Doctor’

The iconic superstar Rajinikanth is all set to mesmerize audiences once again, teaming up with director Ashwath Marimuthu for their upcoming venture, Dharman. Formerly known by its working title Thalaivar173this new cinematic offering promises to be a thrilling ride, if the first look is anything to go by!

With anticipation reaching fever pitch, the film’s first poster has been unveiled, showcasing Rajinikanth in an intriguing avatar—a doctor ready to heal or possibly harm, as ‘The Deadly Doctor’ tagline suggests. Dressed in medical scrubs and holding a scalpel with the determination of a man on a mission, the poster also carries the powerful phrase, “Dharmame Vellum,” meaning “Justice Will Prevail.”

Joining Rajinikanth in this cinematic journey are talented actors Simran Bagga, Yogi Babu, and Raashii Khanna in pivotal roles. The musical genius Anirudh Ravichander will weave magic with his scores, while Niketh Bommireddy captures the film’s visual essence as the cinematographer. Editor Pradeep E. Ragav, along with the dynamic Anbariv duo as action choreographers, rounds out the stellar team.

Director Ashwath Marimuthu expressed his gratitude to Silambarasan TR and AGS Entertainment for the opportunity to bring Dharman to life before embarking on STR51. Marking his first collaboration with Anirudh Ravichander, Ashwath is excited to reveal that the film will feature eight songs, with Rajinikanth’s introduction crafted through a captivating musical number.

Initially, the film saw the involvement of directors Sundar C and Cibi Chakravarthi, who eventually bowed out, paving the way for Ashwath’s creative vision.
