Rajkummar Rao Gains Weight in Preparation for New Project

The actor was recently trolled for his noticeable weight gain after being photographed at a public event. He attended the Bolti Khidkiyaan Short Film Festival in Mumbai, appearing more mature than before, which sparked online discussions about his changed look. Addressing the criticism, he clarified that the transformation was intentional and done for his upcoming film Nowherea biopic on renowned Indian special public prosecutor and politician Ujjwal Nikam, who was appointed to the Rajya Sabha last year. For the role, Rajkummar revealed that he had gained approximately nine to ten kilograms deliberately.

Besides this project, he is preparing to headline another biographical film, this time based on former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly. The much-anticipated biopic is scheduled to begin filming next month, adding yet another significant role to his expanding lineup of upcoming ventures in his career journey ahead this year.
