Rajnath Singh’s statement: ‘To face any situation..
Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday gave an important statement in Kerala regarding the country’s security and energy situation. During the visit in view of the Kerala Assembly elections, he said that India is fully prepared to face any crisis or challenge.
New Delhi: Rajnath Singh on Thursday took charge of the campaign in the state in view of the Kerala Assembly elections. Addressing the public on this occasion, he said that there is no shortage of fuel or gas in the country and India is fully prepared to face any kind of energy crisis. Rajnath Singh also underlined the energy policies and achievements of the Central Government in his speech.
He said that continuous efforts are being made to ensure energy security in the country and with the cooperation of the state and central government, the public will not have to face any difficulty.
India ready for any energy crisis
Rajnath Singh said that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel or gas in the country. He clarified that some people are taking advantage of the conflict in West Asia and spreading false news, but India is ready to face every kind of challenge. The Defense Minister said, “Safely escorting Indian tankers through the Strait of Hormuz has been the primary responsibility of our Navy. Due to the diplomatic skills of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have been able to deal with every challenge.
India’s preparations for West Asia crisis
In the context of the ongoing conflict in West Asia, Rajnath Singh said that people from many states including Kerala live and work in these countries. He assured that India will not lag behind in taking any step for the safety of its citizens. He said, “We are closely monitoring the situation in West Asia. The country is fully prepared to face any situation. Our Navy is continuously ensuring the security of Indian tankers.”
The Defense Minister mentioned the reforms made in the field of security in the last 11 years. He said that the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strengthened national security. Rajnath Singh said, “When the UPA government was there, it was difficult to face terrorism and internal security challenges. Now our government at the Center has taken decisive steps against terrorism.” Giving examples of Operation Sindoor and recent security measures, he said that India’s security system is completely capable.
