Rajpal Yadav appeals to the industry after his release from Tihar Jail, says – ‘Give me work’…

Tezzbuzz Desk- Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has been released after spending 12 days in Tihar Jail. He has got interim bail from Delhi High Court in a case related to a loan of Rs 9 crore. After coming out of jail on February 17, the actor, while talking to the media, expressed his gratitude to his supporters and also appealed to the film industry to provide them work.

What did Rajpal Yadav say after his release?

Talking to India TV, Rajpal Yadav said that he has received a lot of love from the audience of every generation. He said,
“Thank you very much to all of you for supporting me. From children to people of all ages, they have loved me in my journey. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”

He further said that he is grateful to those who supported him on social media, as well as those who criticized him. According to him, only prayers and blessings give him the strength to move forward.

Rajpal Yadav once again appealed for cooperation from the film industry. He said that people who have helped him before can support him again by giving him good roles. The actor said in a light-hearted manner, “Those who have helped, please help me one more time. The character is of my choice and the money is of their choice.”

Rajpal Yadav also talked about the time he spent in jail. He told that Tihar Jail is well managed and the food there was also good. However, he is currently out on interim bail to attend his niece’s wedding. He has got relief till March 18, after which further legal process will be decided.

Why did you have to go to jail?

Rajpal Yadav had to go to jail in check bounce case. He had borrowed around Rs 5 crore for the production of his debut directorial film ‘Aata Pata Lapata’. He could not return the amount due to the film being a flop.

The matter reached legal action and ultimately the actor had to surrender and go to jail. At present he has been granted interim bail, but the case is not completely over yet.

This time has certainly been challenging for Rajpal Yadav, but after his release he has shown a positive attitude. Now all eyes are on how he gets relief from the legal process as well as makes a fresh start in the industry.
