Rajpal Yadav came out of Tihar Jail after 12 days, said – every child of the country stayed with me from childhood till 55.
Mumbai Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has finally come out of Tihar Jail. He has been released after spending 12 days behind bars. Yesterday i.e. on Monday, the Delhi High Court, while giving its verdict, had granted him interim bail. The actor was released from jail on Tuesday, February 17. He has got this relief after a long running legal dispute regarding the loan amount of Rs 9 crore.

After coming out of jail, Rajpal addressed the media. He said that if you have any legal information, you can get it from our lawyer Bhaskar. Rest I would like to say that I will be in Bollywood for 30 years. It was only because every child of the entire country stayed with me that I was able to do 250 films. The entire Bollywood stood with me. The child, old youth of Indian cinema is a piece of my heart. Everyone was with me and is with me.
Rajpal further said that I have accepted whatever orders the Honorable High Court has given in the last 10 years. In future too, wherever he asks me to be present, I will definitely be present. I have an entertainment relationship with everyone. I am very thankful to the way Bollywood supported me. Thank you High Court, you heard me, gave me a chance. I stand at every crossroads, every turn. With you.
Rajpal paid Rs 1.5 crore
A case was registered against Rajpal Yadav regarding financial transactions related to a film project. The allegation was that he had taken a loan of Rs 5 crore to make his directorial debut film Ata Pata Lapata. The film flopped at the box office. But Rajpal did not repay the loan taken on time. The amount with interest had increased from Rs 5 crore to Rs 9 crore. Fed up with the Delhi businessman from whom Rajpal had taken the loan, the matter reached the court and during the hearing, a strict stance was taken regarding financial irregularities. In this long-running case, Rajpal finally admitted in the court that he did not have the money to repay the loan. After the court order, he surrendered in Delhi’s Tihar Jail. However, after this Rajpal started getting help from the film industry. After this, while re-opening the case, Rajpal’s lawyer pleaded for his release. During this, his lawyers argued that efforts were on from the actor’s side for payment and he respects the legal process. On the orders of the court, a demand draft of Rs 1.5 crore was also deposited towards Rajpal.

Relief from court on conditions
In the recent hearing, the court granted him interim bail with certain conditions. Citing his niece’s marriage, the court has granted bail to Rajpal only till March 18. The court also made it clear that Rajpal will have to surrender his passport. They cannot go out of the country without permission. He will cooperate fully in the investigation and further hearing. Rajpal Yadav came out of jail on Tuesday, February 17, the next day after the court order. Rajpal got a lot of help from the industry. Many stars including Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan, Sonu Sood and Gurmeet Choudhary helped him with money. Boxer Vijendra Singh has offered him a film. Rajpal will soon be seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Welcome to the Jungle.
