Earlier this month, the Delhi High Court, while hearing the case, refused to extend the stay on his sentence and directed him to surrender. Following the court order, Rajpal Yadav surrendered in Tihar Jail on 5 February.

Since then, he is spending his days and nights in jail and at present he has not got any relief in this matter. Meanwhile, many big Bollywood stars have come forward for his legal help, while the family is also making continuous efforts.

What is the whole matter?

This case pertains to check bounce, in which the court refused to extend the time limit for the relief given earlier. During the hearing, Delhi High Court refused to extend the stay on the sentence and directed Rajpal Yadav to surrender. Following the court order, the actor surrendered in Tihar jail on February 5.

After this decision, he is in custody under judicial process. The case is to be heard again on Monday, in which a decision can be taken on the bail petition.

Rumors spread regarding bail

In recent days, the discussion had intensified on social media that Rajpal Yadav has got bail. However, his wife Radha Yadav termed these reports as false and clarified that the actor is still in jail and will remain there till he gets bail. Speaking to the media, Radha Yadav said, “As far as I know, he is fine. Currently he is in jail and waiting for the next decision of the court.” He also said that the family has remained strong during these difficult times.

In the case of Rajpal Yadav, support has also been seen from the film industry. Many artists including actors Sonu Sood and Ajay Devgan have expressed their willingness to come forward to help. However, Radha Yadav clarified that she does not want to make public the details of any financial assistance or support at this time.
“Many people have come forward to help. I thank everyone, but it would not be appropriate to share names or amounts at this time,” she said. Even before this he had told the news agency that the industry has fully supported the family.

Rajpal Yadav’s manager also told that many people are voluntarily offering cooperation. He said that help can be not only in financial form but also in the form of legal and moral support.
