The film 'Karan Arjun' became iconic

Rakesh Roshan's 'Karan Arjun' is being re-released in theatres. Despite being released in 1995, this film has remained iconic over the years. Rakesh Roshan got the work done together

During his exclusive conversation with ETimes, Rakesh Roshan said, “Being an actor, I know what an actor feels. When I was writing the film, I was writing measuredly. If it has 10 scenes then it also has 10 scenes. If it has a song then it also has a song. I balanced the entire script when I narrated it to them. He didn't even get a chance to say whether his role is better or why mine is like this.”

Distributors had abandoned the film

Recently, while talking to Dainik Bhaskar, Rakesh Roshan told that he told the distributor that he is going to make an action film with Salman and Shahrukh. On hearing this, 2-3 distributors left the film. He told that at first even Shahrukh was not convinced with the story of this film. However, it is said that he later apologized for this.

Both Khans used to do only romantic films

Producer Rakesh Roshan is often asked how he managed to bring these two stars together. On this Rakesh Roshan says, I saw at that time both Salman and Shahrukh used to do only romantic films. I thought both of them can also do action films. He also told that his first choice for this film was Ajay Devgan and Shahrukh Khan.
