Recently Rakhi Sawant reached comedian Bharti Singh’s podcast. During this, the actress talked about her personal life and struggles. Rakhi’s financial condition was not good, she told that she used to serve food to people for Rs 50. Rakhi said- ‘We were poor so I used to work for money. But since childhood I wanted to do something big. When I used to dance, my parents used to beat me. I have endured a lot to reach here. The actress told that she had run away from her home at the age of 11-12.

How did I get the offer of ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’?

During this, Rakhi also told that after a lot of struggle, she got the song ‘Khula Hai Mera Pinjra’ from Govinda’s film ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’. Rakhi told that one day she suddenly met producer Shakeel Noorani. He had offered a song to Rakhi. The actress said- ‘I met Shakeel Noorani under the building. He asked me do you dance? I said yes. Then he called me for ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’.

While sharing the story of the set of ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’, Rakhi further said – ‘On the very first day on the set, Govinda burped loudly in my mouth. I said this is a blessing. He must have come after eating. I was sitting ready. Bought the clothes myself. The actress told that her first song in Bollywood was ‘Khula Hai Mera Pinjra’, after that it was from the film Pardesiya, Main Hoon. The actress told that she has also danced in private shows and earned money from it.
