Officials gave clarification
After the matter escalated, the Gir National Park authority gave clarification on this. Officials said that the viral video is not from inside the restricted area, but from outside the entry gate. He said that no person is allowed to get down from the safari vehicle inside the sanctuary.

What was said in the statement?
A statement issued by the authority said that the video was shot outside the entrance of the park. According to the rules, no one is allowed to get out of the vehicle after entering the protected area. He clarified that Rakul did not violate any rule.

Rakul Preet Singh will soon be seen in the film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’. Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan and Vamika Gabbi will also be seen with him in this film. Earlier this film was scheduled to release in March 2026, but now its new release date has been kept as 15 May 2026.
