Ralph Fiennes recalls King Charles visiting James Bond film set

Washington: Harry Potter actor Ralph Fiennes reminisced about King Charles's visit to the set of the 2021 James Bond film No Time to Die, as reported by People. “When the royals go on a film set, the atmosphere changes,” Fiennes said. He further said, “Even if they do not keep themselves completely groomed, there are still some internal restrictions.” “There are a variety of reactions from the royals,” he added, “from people saying, 'Oh… the Prince of Wales is coming. What a mess'” to others who excitedly ask, “What? Did you see them? How are they?” Fiennes described King Charles as “warm” and “pleasant to meet” during the royal family's visit to the Bond film set, where Fiennes played “M”.

He said that their conversation was “easy”. King Charles later attended the film's London premiere with Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton in September 2021, the outlet reported. No Time to Die was the third Bond film in which Fiennes played M, the head of MI6, the Secret Intelligence Service. The film is based on Bond, who has retired from active service and is enjoying a quiet life in Jamaica. However, his peace is disturbed when his old friend from the CIA, Felix Leiter, asks for his help. A mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist proves more dangerous than expected, leading Bond to face a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology. The film was released in India on September 30, 2021.
