Director Buchi Babu Sana has revealed that Charan had worked day and night for the last 8 months to achieve this ‘killer look’. ‘Miracle’ of Ayyappa Deeksha and pure vegetarian diet According to director Buchi Babu Sana, this transformation of Ram Charan was not limited to the gym only. The most surprising thing is that the actor continued his training even during the difficult times of his Ayyappa Diksha (religious ritual). During this time, he was on a pure vegetarian diet, but he did not take a break from workout even for a day. The director told that it was not just about building muscles, but it was a challenge to imbibe the body language, movements and that rough-and-tough attitude of a real wrestler. The initial promotions featured Ram Charan as a ‘village cricketer’ but the fresh ‘Peddi Pehalwan’ look has added a new dimension to the story.
