Considering the sensitivity of the matter, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has formed a high-level Special Investigation Team (SIT). On the other hand, Special Operation Group (SOG) has detained a temple employee Lavkush Mishra and started questioning him.
According to information received from sources, when the investigation team raided the house of accused employee Lavkush Mishra living in Shujaganj area of Rudauli, even the officers were surprised to see the scene there. Cash worth about Rs 10 lakh has been recovered from Lavkush’s house. The surprising thing is that to avoid thieves and investigating agencies, some of the money was kept in the cupboard of the house, while the rest of the money was hidden outside by pressing it in a pile of dung. However, the administration has not yet issued any official or final statement regarding this recovery. Another suspected employee has been detained in this case. Both these employees were engaged in the work of counting and looking after the offerings coming to the temple.
Monthly salary 18 thousand, but bought land worth crores
This difference in the earnings and assets of these employees first came on the radar of the investigating agencies. It is being told that the monthly salary of both the employees was only between 18 to 20 thousand rupees. But in the last few months his financial condition suddenly changed. Investigation has revealed that one employee recently purchased a huge land worth about Rs 1.5 crore, while another also bought a plot worth about Rs 40 lakh in his name. Building such huge properties with such a low salary became the biggest reason for suspicion of the investigating agencies.

Son is innocent, raised money by mortgaging land, claims father
Meanwhile, Bachchu Lal, father of accused Luvkush Mishra, has defended his son. He admitted to receiving Rs 10 lakh from the house, but declared his son completely innocent. Bachchulal says that his son has nothing to do with the house being built in Faizabad. He claimed that he had mortgaged his own agricultural land to build the house, from which this amount came. On the other hand, the villagers have something else to say. According to the villagers, the investigation team consisted of 6 people (2 in police uniform and 4 in plain clothes). It is a common discussion in the village that after getting the job in Ram temple, there was a sudden jump in Lavkush’s wealth and financial condition.
