Mamata Banerjee congratulated Tarique Rahman : Preparations have started for the coronation of BNP chief Tariq Rahman as the new Prime Minister of Bangladesh. Rehman, son of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, who returned home after 17 years, has brought his party back to power after 20 years. His party has registered a big victory in the Bangladesh parliamentary elections. After which leaders from all over the world are congratulating the BNP leader. Meanwhile, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has congratulated Tariq Rehman on his victory in a special way.

TMC chief Mamata Banerjee has congratulated the citizens of Bangladesh for Ramadan in advance after the victory of BNP. He wrote in the X Post on Friday, “My heartiest congratulations to all my brothers and sisters in Bangladesh, all the people, good wishes. Advance Ramadan Mubarak to all of them. For this big victory, my congratulations to my Tariq-Bhai, his party and all the parties. May you all be well and happy. May our relations with Bangladesh always remain good.”

Earlier, PM Narendra Modi and Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge also congratulated Tariq Rehman’s party. PM Modi wrote, “I heartily congratulate Mr. Tariq Rahman for leading the BNP to a landslide victory in the parliamentary elections in Bangladesh. This victory reflects the confidence of the people of Bangladesh in your leadership. India will stand in support of a democratic, progressive and inclusive Bangladesh. I look forward to working with you to strengthen our many ties and advance our common development goals.” I am.”

Kharge wrote in X Post, “On behalf of the Indian National Congress, I congratulate Mr. Tariq Rahman and BNP for winning the parliamentary elections in Bangladesh. India and Bangladesh have deep ties of history, language, culture and many other things in common. For the stability and peace of our region, all Indians will always support a democratic, progressive and inclusive Bangladesh.”
