Ramco Systems shares jump over 2% after US arm signs pact with Powerhouse Engines to implement next-gen aviation software

Ramco Systems shares rose over 2% in early trade after the company announced a key enterprise software implementation through its US arm, strengthening its presence in the global aviation technology space. As of 9:22 AM, the shares were trading 1.92% higher at Rs 596.90.

Enterprise aviation software provider Ramco Systems Corporation, USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ramco Systems Limited, has confirmed the deployment of its next-generation Aviation Software at Powerhouse Engines, a South Florida–based aviation services company. Powerhouse Engines specializes in jet engine leasing, trading, and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the CFM56 family of engines.

The implementation is aimed at digitally transforming Powerhouse Engines’ end-to-end engine MRO operations. Ramco’s aviation platform will provide complete lifecycle coverage, enabling the company to optimize resource utilization, gain real-time operational visibility, and support data-driven decision-making across its maintenance ecosystem. This strategic deployment is expected to strengthen operational control while improving efficiency and compliance across critical functions.

Under the agreement, Powerhouse Engines will adopt an integrated suite of Ramco Aviation Software modules covering Engineering and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), engine and shop maintenance, MRO contracting, finance, and quality management. The Engineering and CAMO capabilities include configuration management, airworthiness directive and service bulletin management, task card handling, and maintenance planning. This integrated approach is designed to ensure seamless coordination across departments while supporting regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

The implementation will also enhance inventory management, purchasing, and cost-tracking processes at Powerhouse Engines. By streamlining subcontracting and third-party repair workflows, the company aims to improve overall MRO efficiency and reduce turnaround times for engine maintenance and overhauls, which are critical factors in the highly competitive aviation services industry.

As part of its broader digital transformation journey, Powerhouse Engines will leverage Ramco’s advanced digital tools, including Anywhere mobile applications, Hubs, and BInGO dashboards. These solutions will support a shift toward paperless operations by enabling real-time tracking of parts, inventory, repair orders, purchase orders, and repair tags. The move is expected to significantly improve process efficiency and accelerate maintenance workflows across the organization.
